Europe Business Assembly was proud to induct Bolesławiec into the Prime Business Destination programme. Bolesławiec was introduced at the London ' Achievements Forum' 21st April 2015.

Boleslawiec is a town on the Bóbr river in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in southwestern Poland, with 40,837 inhabitants (2006). It is the administrative seat of Bolesławiec County, and of Gmina Bolesławiec(although it is not part of the territory of the latter, the town being an urban gmina in its own right). Bolesławiec was previously in Jelenia Góra Voivodeship (1975–1998).
For its long-standing pottery-making tradition, Bolesławiec is celebrated as Miasto Ceramiki or "Ceramics City".

At the London forum Mr. Piotr Roman, the mayor of Bolesławiec presented the city’s developments and investment opportunities. After this Bolesławiec was presented the Flag and certificate of investment attractiveness.

Boleslawiec-5Bolesławiec is a town with the population of 40 thousand people, located in the south-west of Poland, in the western part of Dolnośląskie voivodeship, along the axis of the Bóbr river valley - the left tributary of the Oder. It is a dynamically developing urban centre with a sub regional meaning, commonly referred to as the capital of Polish ceramics.
The development of Bolesławiec is visible in numerous areas - increasingly better choice of residential offers (new housing estates, new areas for residential construction), dynamic economic development of the town (new industrial plants located in Bolesławiec), ever widening educational offers and a rich leisure offer (new cultural and recreational centres).
Bolesławiec has been the winner of prestigious rankings and competitions concerning environment protection, obtaining European funds and town administration.
Boleslawiec-6The particular position of Bolesławiec and achievements of its residents were acknowledged by the Council of Europe which in 2012 honoured the town with the Council of Europe Plaque of Honour.
Bolesławiec is becoming not only a place where more and more people would like to live, but also an attractive place on the Polish touristic and investment map.


Economy and Investments


Investment offer

The Bolesławiec Zone of Economic Activity, which includes the Subzone Bolesławiec of the Special Economic Zone of Wałbrzych “INVEST-PARK” (WSSE), covers almost 110 hectares of investment areas. There are over 50 ha of areas to be developed for investment. In the local zoning plan, the entire investment area has industrial purpose. The offered investment real estate are fully connected with the network of national roads (A4 and A18 motorways) and voivodeship roads (roads no. 297, 363, 350), as well as internal roads with increased parameters which have been built recently with the use of European funds.
The Economic Activity Zone of Bolesławiec is fully developed with water, sewage, gas and power networks. Land development took place within the last three years and it has parameters which meet the expectations of even the most demanding customers.
The offered real estates are ecologically clean and free from natural dangers (e.g. floods).
Investors who decide to locate investment in Bolesławiec may be granted tax reliefs in income tax - connected with operations in a special economic zone, as well as reliefs in property tax.
Entrepreneurs investing in Bolesławiec can count on assistance of the employees of the Municipal Office and the Special Economic Zone of Wałbrzych at each stage of investment realization. For the needs of investors, a Spatial Information System was created. This system contains essential information about the area, i.e.: orthophotomap, height profiles, base of local plans, environmental conditions, data on development networks. The system allows wide use of the possessed information for broad location and cost calculation analyses.
It is also important that the town is in 100% covered with binding local zoning plans, which considerably streamlines investment processes.
