Federico Caprotti

expert-federico-caprotti-150Senior Lecturer in Urban Geography

Federico Caprotti previously worked as a lecturer in human geography at Plymouth University (2010-13), where I introduced one of the first geography undergraduate classes to take place wholly in China. I also lectured in human geography at University College London (UCL) in 2007-10, at the University of Oxford in 2005-07, and at the University of Leicester (2004-05).

He carried out doctoral work on nature and the city in New Towns in fascist Italy at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University, where I gained my DPhil in 2004. Before then, I studied for a bachelors degree in geography at St. Peter’s College, Oxford University. As part of my continuing training I have recently (2011) completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP), and became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (2012).
